Hello Jackie,
My wife has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. We are going to see a specialist on Thursday (4-26-99) to get some tests done and hear what options are availlable. This could be the start of a long hard journey. Yet we have a God who cares and hears the petitions of His saints. Please raise your voice to God and spread the word to others. When He intervenes all will go well. Her name is Linda.

Follow-up on Linda
God Bless in the name of Jesus Good Morning, I hope that this letter finds all of you well and in good spirits. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of Linda's current medical status. In November I asked if you could pray for her because she was found with cancer in her breast. It was a stage four tumour and was attached to the muscle wall with tendrils of cancer going inward into the body. Because of your prayers on her behalf the chemo therapy was very successful in reducing the size of the lump and destroying the tendrils of the cancer as well. What seemed to be a situation that would call for drastic surgery has changed. Thank you all for praying, our God heard your petition and has moved in a major way. Linda still has peace about the situation. Though she hasn't heard a word of acknowledgement that the cancer is tottaly gone. She waited for the sure word from the Lord and it has not come. She still believes that God is in control of the situation but the time has also come for her to have the operation. This wednesday, March 1 @ 9.45am central time, Linda will be entering the operating room to have a simple mastectomy. She is expected to be in the hospital for 2-3 days. We would both appreciate your continued prayers for her during this period. It is our hope that when the biopsy is done on the breast tissue that is removed it will be found clear of any cancer. With God on our side that is a very strong possibilty. Let your prayers be fervent as they were before. We thank all of your prayer warriors that have held us up in prayer so far. May God richly bless all of you.
